Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in Tucson and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized during shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of local Tucson, AZ geography and street patterns.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and reporting tasks.
- Physical stamina to lift packages and handle heavy loads.
