Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo securely using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and route planning tools to deliver goods to designated locations on time, every time.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, bills of lading, and vehicle inspection reports.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Experience: Proven experience driving commercial vehicles preferred; recent graduates welcome to apply.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Background: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
