Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods across Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload shipments with precision using pallet jacks and forklift training
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and issue resolution
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for efficient nighttime navigation
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in delivery/logistics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Colorado roadways and weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
