Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Accurately document delivery logs and handle customer interactions professionally
- Secure cargo and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Collaborate with warehouse team for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with night shift preference
- Strong knowledge of Dallas area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) and occasional weekends
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
