Job Overview:
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods throughout the LA basin. We value punctuality and safety above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on designated routes in and around Los Angeles.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently at delivery sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a accident-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
