Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure efficient overnight deliveries
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve delivery-related concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or equivalent state license
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
