Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving
- Handle returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company protocols
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for overnight shift reliability
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation systems
- Pass a background check and drug screening as per company policy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
