Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package delivery during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Assist with warehouse operations during shift start/end procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of San Jose metro area geography
