Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in time-sensitive delivery environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (California)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach/Port of LA routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Basic knowledge of freight handling
