Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Ensure proper handling and security of high-value or temperature-sensitive shipments
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 5 AM)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
