Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate San Diego's night routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during nighttime delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
- Assist with inventory management at distribution points
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and traffic patterns
- Availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
