Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages across Philadelphia during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management at distribution centers
- Adhere to company safety protocols and Philadelphia municipal regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking applications
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
