Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations
- Load, transport, and unload packages with care and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery records
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide professional customer interactions during deliveries
- Adhere to company safety protocols and cargo security measures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Availability to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Long Beach area preferred
