Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, food, and medical supplies across Charlotte during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during high-demand nighttime operations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries in Charlotte's metropolitan area
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch teams during peak nighttime delivery windows
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean MVR record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift 50+ packages and navigate stairs in multi-story buildings
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte's street network and GPS navigation systems
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
