Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders across Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Verify package contents and maintain accurate delivery logs with digital scanning
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night deliveries, ensuring satisfaction and professionalism
- Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team during peak hours to manage delivery volume effectively
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong familiarity with Northern Virginia roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation to/from nightly shift location
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
