Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Long Beach routes during overnight shifts
- Load, unload, and verify delivery accuracy for packages and perishable goods
- Maintain electronic delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic tech tools
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
