Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses within Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or commercial driving background preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to work independently during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
- Knowledge of Long Beach area and surrounding communities highly desirable
