Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods on assigned night routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Uphold company standards for package security and handling
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Long Beach area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route communication
- Reliable transportation to warehouse location
