Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and supplies across Detroit metropolitan area during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to work independently in overnight shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Detroit metropolitan area
