Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods within NYC metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- DOT medical certification current
- Strong time management and communication skills
