Responsibilities
- Safely navigate Columbus streets to deliver packages and goods during overnight hours
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure punctual service
- Load/unload cargo with attention to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
