Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Charlotte during assigned night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery-related issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while representing the company brand
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Availability to work Monday-Friday nights with reliable transportation to depot
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
