Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Load/unload packages with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte streets and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening
