Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food items across Boston and surrounding areas during overnight shifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using GPS tracking technology and mobile scanning systems
- Verify recipient identities and handle cash transactions when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Boston neighborhoods and major roadways
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Pass background check and drug screening
