Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Charlotte metropolitan area during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles before/duty to ensure roadworthiness and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers and customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile tracking systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
