Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Safely operate commercial trucks on local and regional routes within Jacksonville, FL, and Georgia.</li><li>Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance (DVIR).</li><li>Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).</li><li>Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations.</li><li>Ensure cargo is within weight limits and properly secured for transit.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues promptly.</li><li>Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.</li><li>Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.</li><li>Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).</li><li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.</li><li>Strong knowledge of road conditions in Florida and Georgia.</li><li>Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.</li></ul>
