Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods throughout San Diego County during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle daily to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely communication and professional interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during all operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to operate vehicles up to 26' box trucks (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and overnight traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability and data plan
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
