Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods throughout Los Angeles during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding traffic delays or delivery issues
- Represent CitySwift Logistics professionally in all customer interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and major highways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
