Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in nighttime conditions while adhering to all traffic regulations
- Efficiently navigate Indianapolis metro routes using GPS and mapping technology
- Load/unload packages with precision and maintain proper inventory records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using mobile apps
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Indianapolis roadways
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM with weekend flexibility
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
