Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Navigate Cleveland metro area using GPS systems while adhering to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and complete delivery documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills for route optimization
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic GPS proficiency and smartphone literacy
