Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within designated NYC boroughs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely nighttime deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all NYC traffic regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with NYC boroughs and navigation systems
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
