Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders across New Orleans during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during night operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation role
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
