Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail items to customers within designated Austin routes during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including order verification and issue resolution
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while navigating Austin's nighttime conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with night shift preference
- Ability to safely operate vehicles up to 10,000 lbs and navigate GPS systems
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
