Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, retail, and medical supplies across Philadelphia metropolitan area during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and company safety protocols while navigating urban routes
- Accurately process payments, manage inventory, and complete delivery documentation via mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night interactions with businesses and residences
- Perform vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance reporting before/after shifts
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and order management apps
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak delivery periods
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Preferred: Food handler's certification or prior experience with temperature-sensitive deliveries
