Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Indianapolis metropolitan area during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication through our digital tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Handle cash transactions and maintain secure cash management protocols
- Uphold company safety standards and defensive driving practices at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers and customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Must be available to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with consistent weekly schedule
