Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in nighttime conditions while adhering to all traffic laws
- Efficiently load/unload packages using proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Fresno area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends
