Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and food deliveries across DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency during overnight operations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time delivery adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Experience with commercial vehicles or delivery operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of DC geography and traffic patterns
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
