Responsibilities
- Safely navigate Long Beach's night routes using company-provided delivery vehicles
- Execute time-sensitive deliveries with 100% accuracy and proof-of-service documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to optimize routes and maintain real-time communication with dispatch
- Handle high-value packages with care and follow special handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night delivery interactions
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly during shifts
- Proficient in smartphone navigation apps and basic digital tools
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) including weekends
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Long Beach geography and traffic patterns preferred
