Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver food and packages within designated Chicago neighborhoods
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer communication via mobile app
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Chicago geography and traffic patterns
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM, weekends and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and app usage
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to adjust routes during peak demand periods
