Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages across Albuquerque during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery updates and special requests
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution hub during shift start
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper lifting techniques
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for overnight shifts
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
