Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Portland metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS navigation systems for optimal efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for seamless logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Availability to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Portland street networks and neighborhoods
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
