Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to meet strict time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Assist in warehouse organization when not actively on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding communities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
