Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive deliveries during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Navigate Houston's complex road network efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools
- Verify package integrity and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during after-hours interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Houston geography and traffic patterns
- Availability to work flexible overnight shifts including weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from warehouse
- Pass background check and drug screening
