Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Chicagoland during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries in high-traffic conditions
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues with exceptional service
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company operational procedures
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers and customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and metropolitan area geography
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
