Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for overnight freight deliveries across the Southwest region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Safely load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes and delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all driving and cargo handling activities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Tucson metro area and Southwest routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (training provided)
