Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation following HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Verify specimen integrity and packaging standards before transport
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with time-sensitive precision
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of transport units
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year medical courier or similar transport experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong time management and navigation skills in Fresno County
- Proficiency with mobile tracking and delivery software
- Background check and drug screening required
