Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and patient documents to designated healthcare facilities, laboratories, and hospitals in Stockton and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and OSHA regulations regarding the handling and temperature control of medical samples.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Use handheld delivery management software to track status, update delivery confirmations, and communicate with dispatch.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure punctuality and efficiency to meet tight turnaround times for critical medical shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for GPS navigation and delivery apps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
