Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and supplies in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time arrival across Phoenix metro
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch teams
- Handle hazardous materials shipments following DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 1+ year medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route optimization tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Background check and drug screen required
