Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport units
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and patient confidentiality protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Report any shipment discrepancies or temperature deviations immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs unassisted
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology
- Reliable smartphone with data plan
