Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery routes
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Handle urgent/emergency deliveries with precision and urgency
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical/transportation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and specimen handling
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
